Fire, Water, Forest, Ice, Light, Wind and Crystal - seven brand new temples for the official Fireboy and Watergirl series. This cooperative platformer game challenges you to control both characters through various puzzles, traps, and obstacles.
How to Play
Fireboy and Watergirl is best played cooperatively with one other player. You and a friend control both characters separately. Using these characters, you must defeat a range of traps and tricky situations, pick up gems, and reach the end of the level.
Both characters have unique advantages that you should leverage to navigate through the level. Fireboy can walk through fire unharmed but is hurt by water, while Watergirl can walk through water safely but is hurt by fire. As you progress through the 30+ stages, the challenges become increasingly difficult. You'll need to use the characters together to get through doors, up elevators, and over deadly green ooze.
The game features seven different temples: Fire Temple, Water Temple, Forest Temple, Ice Temple, Light Temple, Wind Temple, and Crystal Temple. Each temple has its own unique mechanics and challenges. Collect all the diamonds in each level to achieve the perfect score!
PC and Mobile Interaction
Fireboy Controls: Use Left and Right arrow keys to move, Up arrow key to jump. Watergirl Controls: Use A and D keys to move, Up arrow key to jump. In single-player mode, you can switch between characters using Tab or a designated key.
Touch controls are optimized for mobile gameplay. Tap and hold on the left side of the screen to move left, right side to move right, and tap the jump button to jump. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer modes on mobile devices.
Tips & Tricks
Work together: Communication is key when playing with a friend. Coordinate your movements to solve puzzles efficiently.
Understand each character's strengths: Fireboy can safely walk through fire, while Watergirl can walk through water. Use this to your advantage.
Collect all diamonds: Each level has diamonds scattered throughout. Collecting them all gives you a perfect score.
Watch out for green ooze: Both characters are harmed by green ooze, so plan your path carefully to avoid it.
Use switches and buttons: Many puzzles require one character to activate a switch while the other moves through a door or platform.
Practice timing: Some obstacles require precise timing. Take your time and observe patterns before making your move.
Think creatively: Some puzzles have multiple solutions. Experiment with different approaches to find the most efficient path.
